…the sculptural system mimics the complexity of a bird’s beaks bones structure
BIRD + COCOON - Inspired by a bird’s beak’s bone structure, the sculptural system mimics the bone’s complexity in layers. First it was sketched by hand, then sculpted in wood, hand-cast and finally assembled in multiple layers. It is then applied to a functional entertainment storage system as a private commission, along with a collection of ‘Cocoon Sleeping Pods’.
