Filmed in Moorea French Polynesia, Smith envelops herself within the ocean, swimmingly alongside a manta ray, the underwater butterfly, and big wave surfer, Jenny Useldinger. Smith's manipulation of the natural effects of the light and color she captures in-camera. Playing with the distance between camera and subject, controlling the amount of light through the lens, reality is reduced into seemingly animated figures as the subject swims in underwater ritualistic sequences. Calm and serene, the film is a meditation of the senses.
