Elizabeth Paige Smith Art Unable To Fly

Elizabeth Paige Smith Art Unable to fly, shot in Lone Pine, California.

UNABLE TO FLY

Spontaneity is the root of all EPS film and film stills. For the making of Unable To Fly, EPS shot her subject, Ryan, on location near Death Valley while directing him on site. In this intimate dream story, EPS applies her signature in-camera effects, inter-personal connection with subject, and experimentation with sounds of the landscape and time.

Here, as can be found in her other films or sound works, wind is a fierce element, presented as raw as possible, and as much of a character as the subject himself. Wind, water, and earth elements are a recurring theme throughout EPS works
