As a continuation of the exploration of a teenager's emotional spectrum, Smith reintroduces Melissa, a 13 year old local Caymanian girl. In this film we observe Melissa intimately again in a new setting, a banana and mango grove, where she wanders through the banana grove appearing to be in deep contemplation. Appearing at the mango tree she once again searches for Sparrow, a desperation overcomes her, perspiration ensues, she is overcome with a sense of defeat. Through these films, Smith breaks down barriers striking a depth of intimacy with her subject and their splendid interplay drawing out a candid, raw and trustworthy spontaneous performance.
