SEEDS ON SKYLINE

Seeds Project is the result of the vision of Elizabeth Paige Smith and Christopher Stringer. Elizabeth, sculptor and designer, and Christopher, industrial designer, together create a unique approach to architecture and interiors with their use of natural and sustainable materials. Their unparalleled quest for quality and luxury is evidenced in this cozy modern bespoke cottage.

“We create living spaces utilizing the foremost craftsmanship and materials available, sourced with our exhaustive and discerning research. Our approach seeks to define the environment with the highest quality materials suited to the natural setting in our manner unique in design and detail.” Seeds evokes intimacy with its personal yet spacious floor plan, expertly crafted design details, and beautifully curated views of gardens, the bay, and the ocean.

The Stringers teamed up with architect James Gwise, formerly of Bohlin Cywinski Jackson (BCJ) architects, to develop the ideas and together meticulously considering and refining every detail. Working alongside builder Louis Ptak, Elizabeth and Christopher’s vision was realized.

Landscaping and gardens were designed by Elizabeth Paige Smith and Christopher Stringer utilizing the native vegetation and making the most of the naturally occurring views. Stone and wood paths were designed for a leisurely meditative barefoot walk through the gardens leading to a breathtaking view of famed big wave Mavericks at Pillar Point.
